Today, Microsoft launches its add-in for Microsoft Outlook on Android and we are proud to be part of the launch with our Outlook add-in for Jira. The Outlook mobile app helps you accomplish more while on the go, and now you can connect to your project management tool, Jira, on your Android or iOS device.
We are excited to announce that in addition to Outlook on iOS and Android, the new add-in is also available on Outlook 2016 for Mac and Outlook on the web. Now you can be more productive with Jira, no matter what device you are working on!

Simply create and update issues, upload attachments and view related issues – all without leaving your Outlook inbox.
How to get the add-in
To use Jira for Outlook on your mobile device, it’s necessary that your email account is running on Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook.com. To get the add-in, simply enable it on your Outlook for Android or iOS app by going to “Settings,” “Add-ins” and then tap on the add button. You can also get the add-in by visiting the Office Store from Outlook for Windows, Mac or web.
Please note: To keep your business data safe, your Jira administrator must configure a secure connection to Jira first. See Getting started with JIRA for Outlook for more information.
Our add-in offers a free 30-day trial, which you can start by getting our Jira add-on from the Atlassian Marketplace. If you are already using our Outlook add-in on Windows, you can just sign in using your Jira address.
