Launched in 2016, the Outlook email add-in for Jira has grown to more than 2,200 satisfied customers, with thousands of Jira issues are created daily. The app bridges the gap between Jira and emails in the Microsoft Outlook inbox. Users can quickly turn emails into actionable Jira issues and get additional Jira information right next to their email. It makes all employees more productive and is available for Jira Cloud and Jira Server, as well as all Outlook versions for Windows, Mac, Web, iOS, and Android.
Today yasoon is proud to announce the rollout of our best and completely rebuilt version 3. Built entirely from scratch, the new version offers new features, simpler workflows, and a smoother user experience overall.
The new features include:
- A rich text editor to create Jira issues from emails.
- A simple way to add co-workers to the conversation.
- An improved sidebar with a lot more context information on existing Jira issues.
