However, we would like to point out that data transmissions via internet (e.g. e-mail communication) cannot be entirely secure and may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of personal details against unauthorised access by third parties is not possible.
When you install the Office add-in we do collect personal data provided by the Microsoft Office Store. These data contains your name and e-mail address. Those data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit permission.
When using the Add-in for the first time, you'll be asked to login with your Jira credentials.
Using the Add-in in the recommended way helps to protect your business data. If the Jira administrators installs the Jira addon on the Jira instance, we use oAuth to securely authenticate you with the Jira instance.
The add-in also offers a test-mode where you can login directly to Jira. Please note: In this mode yasoon needs to work with your credentials to connect to Jira. We will not store them on our servers but we use them to make requests to the Jira system (e.g. to create the issue).
We track the usage of the add-in anonymously to provide data to our development. Which features are used more often, which errors occur, etc. You cannot turn of this reporting.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential data, we do protect all connections with SSL.
With active SSL encryption the data you have transmitted to us cannot be accessed by third parties.
Right to Information, Deletion, Blocking
